Anne M. Moretti brings over twenty years of senior level management experience in the areas of Board and Executive Development, Change Strategy & Culture Transformation, Organizational Development, Assessments, Strategic/Operational Planning, Quality Improvement, and large/small group facilitation. Her clients include health care systems, nursing homes, pharmaceutical companies, insurance companies, construction and manufacturing companies, physician groups, community groups, education, and government.

 

After a brief position in teaching, Anne started employment in the 1980s where she worked for seven years in Houston, Texas at a large energy/engineering enterprise. For the first two years, she worked as project manager/quality assurance for nuclear power plants. Anne was then promoted to senior consultant in organizational development with responsibility for leadership and organizational development at a corporate level. She returned to Buffalo and was employed at Buffalo General Health System as Director/Administrator, Management Development after a 90-day nursing strike, and subsequently at Kaleida Health as the senior manager responsible for system-wide leadership and organizational development including merger integration, Board/physician development, network development, quality training/transformation, cultural alignment, organizational communication and many Administrative functions. On the international front, she served as project leader for ten years over International Management and Change programs in Russia, Hungary and in Bosnia including a 2-year, USAID White House grant project for the Tuzla Medical Center and the Ministry of Health in Sarajevo post-war. Anne then accepted a position as Vice President & Principal at Caduceus Consulting Group/Moretti Consulting, LLC. During that time she worked at Houston’s medical center where she implemented organization-wide climate assessments, leadership development programs to support growth strategies, and leadership development assessments for leaders and physicians affiliated with Baylor College of Medicine.

 

Anne holds a number of nationally-recognized certifications including Executive & Leadership Competency assessment & development, Emotional Intelligence, coaching, quality improvement, group facilitation, organizational change, transition management and strategic planning. She completed her undergraduate and graduate education at the State University of New York at Fredonia, the University of Siena in Italy, and the State University of New York at Buffalo. She served as visiting faculty at Rice University in Houston, Canisius College, D’Youville College, Daemen College and the University at Buffalo Graduate Schools of Management, Medicine & Social Work. In the areas of measurement, she implemented a number of needs assessments, focus groups and organizational assessments based on Malcolm-Baldrige quality criteria, the Balanced Score Card, and 360-degree performance measures.

 

A recipient of Business First’s Pathfinders Award and former Board President & Chair of the Niagara Frontier Industry and Education Council, Anne served/s on several community boards such as the American Cancer Society, Musical Fare Theatre, and the United Way of Buffalo Cabinet. Anne published/presented papers at national conferences on the topics of strategic planning and transforming quality in healthcare. Her professional memberships include the Organizational Development Network, ASTD, SHRM, Houston Women’s Professional Group, Buffalo Niagara Partnership, Healthcare Executive Forum, the American College of Healthcare Executives, UB’s Center for Leadership & Organizational Development, UB's Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership and as facilitator for the Buffalo Niagara Partnership's Executive Exchange.
